This dedicated higher education professional has devoted more than two decades of service to Weatherford College, demonstrating exceptional commitment to administrative excellence, operational efficiency, and institutional support. Throughout her tenure, she has played a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of academic and administrative functions while supporting faculty, staff, students, and college leadership.
Beginning her career as Purchasing Secretary, she managed purchasing processes, coordinated vendor communications, maintained records, and supported procurement operations that contributed to the efficient management of college resources. Her strong organizational skills and attention to detail quickly established her as a valuable member of the institution.
Since 2005, she has served as Faculty/Staff Secretary, providing comprehensive administrative support across a wide range of college functions. In this role, she coordinates daily operations, manages communications, maintains records, supports faculty and staff initiatives, assists with scheduling and event coordination, and serves as a dependable resource for students, employees, and stakeholders. Her broad knowledge of institutional processes and commitment to service have made her an integral part of the college community.
Known for her professionalism, reliability, and strong work ethic, she has consistently contributed to the success of Weatherford College through her ability to manage multiple responsibilities, foster collaboration, and maintain efficient administrative operations. Her long-standing service reflects a deep dedication to supporting educational excellence and helping the institution achieve its mission.
With more than 23 years of experience in higher education administration, she continues to be a trusted and valued member of the Weatherford College community, recognized for her commitment to organizational effectiveness, customer service, and institutional success.

01What do you attribute your success to?
First to the love and support of my husband, kids and grandkids. Second to my former supervisor, Dr. Alex Ibe, whom without his support and influential guidance I would not have finished my Associates degree.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Trust the process and listen! People make mistakes, no one is perfect. You can do this!
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Believe in yourself, give all you have and don't be afraid to shine.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The turn over in employees.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Love, caring, understanding and trust. Show people you care and listen to them. Be understanding to the situation and their feelings, but don't be a doormat. You are important. Trust in your family and friends for guidance and love.
