Kari Brandon

Kari Brandon is an accomplished hospitality executive with more than 18 years of experience in the industry. She currently serves as Area Managing Director for the Colorado Region at Highgate, where she provides strategic leadership and operational support across multiple properties. Throughout her career, Kari has built expertise in hotel operations, financial performance, guest satisfaction, team development, training, onboarding, internal audits, and regional support. Her experience spans leading hospitality brands, including Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Hilton, and Marriott. Kari began her career as a breakfast attendant at a Courtyard by Marriott and steadily advanced through front desk and operational roles, including experience in maintenance. Her diverse background has given her a comprehensive understanding of hotel operations from the ground up. She later assisted in opening a La Quinta hotel and went on to support multiple properties by strengthening teams, driving financial results, improving guest satisfaction, training and onboarding general managers, and contributing to renovations, property openings, regional communications, and internal audit initiatives. Kari holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a specialization in systems and cybersecurity from the University of Phoenix. Her professional achievements include being recognized as a Regional Sales Champion after generating more than $180,000 in group revenue, achieving internal audit scores of 98 percent or higher, and achieving quality assurance scores of 93 percent. Known for her hands-on leadership and commitment to operational excellence, Kari combines technical knowledge, hospitality expertise, and a people-centered approach to develop strong teams and deliver consistent results across the properties she supports.
