Her Interview
Ten minutes with Kari
01What do you attribute your success to?
Hard work, dedication, staying positive. I have support at home which is huge. And just doing right for the client, meeting the client's needs. I don't even ask for referrals, because they give them to me voluntarily.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Work hard. Don't give up. Keep your head up. And Don't quit.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be ethical and trustworthy. And be patient with your clients, because a lot of times, they don't buy right away. They have to consider things and think about things before they buy. And follow up with the client, and that's typically what, when they buy.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Team building. I have a team of agents, and that's the struggle. It's not so much getting clients, it's teaching the agents to do the sales, and to find their clients. That's my biggest struggle.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honesty and relationships with my clients. Educating them on what their need is.
