About Karina
After graduating from Cornell University in 2022, she began her career with a sales and trading internship at Morgan Stanley, which led to a full-time role for four years. She then transitioned to Sweep to join a small team building solutions from the ground up, drawn by the confluence of technology, sports, entertainment, and security. She is concurrently pursuing a master's degree in sports business at NYU. As a former Division I athlete at Cornell, she values the lessons of time management, hard work, and respect gained from her lacrosse career.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my mentors and always following my gut when making decisions, big or small.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Trust your gut, and remember that everything happens for a reason.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge and opportunity is that every day looks different: rapid advancements in technology require versatility and creativity in problem-solving. Our goal is to continue to educate people about the evolving cybersecurity world and digital age we live in.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Being respectful and being a really good listener.
