Her Story

About Karinellie

I have been working in mental health for over seven years supporting families through challenges. I specialize in children, youth, young adults, and mothers during prenatal and postpartum periods. My day involves providing therapy and running Terrapedia Institute which offers resources, networking, and trainings for professionals in Puerto Rico. I focus on evidence-based approaches while emphasizing human connection and reducing stigma around seeking help.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I received is that it doesn't have to be perfect to actually work. This allows me as a woman, professional, and mother to believe in my dreams while holding space for mistakes and learning, especially in the entrepreneurship journey of building a private practice.
