Karla Enchautegui

I began my career in hospitality in 2008, starting from the ground up as a room attendant. Over the years, I have worked my way through various positions, gaining comprehensive experience in hotel operations. I spent my first 5 years at a Marriott Residence Inn, where I developed my foundational skills. For the past 13 years, I have been with my current company, where I have continued to grow and advance. For the last 5 years, I have served as Director of Housekeeping, overseeing all housekeeping operations including laundry and public areas. What makes my current role unique is that we work with a non-branded hotel that focuses on airline contracts. We handle a large volume of daily room occupancy for airline crews, and my team and I have learned to adjust our daily operations based on their specific departure and arrival times. This specialized approach to hospitality operations is something that sets us apart from traditional hotels.
