About Karlie
I started my career actually doing college radio, and transitioned into a smaller radio station where I ended up wearing a lot of hats. My career shifted during the pandemic when small radio stations had to make budget cuts, and I found my way into marketing. What I do now is telling the stories of professionals in the security industry. I work on a variety of marketing services and make sure that security integrators have their platforms and websites up to date.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to allies who are my peers that constantly support me, mentors' support, and sponsors who are in the room talking well about me when I'm not there.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Do not sacrifice the authenticity of who you are for a role. Do not let your job take over your life. Still be true to who you are through your career.
