Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to authentic leadership and maintaining a strong personal vision. Developing both personal and professional vision statements has helped me stay focused on growth, resilience, and purpose. I believe that leading with vulnerability and courage allows me to empower others—encouraging them to take risks, learn from mistakes, and cultivate their own leadership voice.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is: “It’s not about how you fall—it’s about how you recover.” This guidance reshaped my view of leadership. Instead of striving for perfection, I focus on recovery, accountability, and maintaining grace under pressure. I make it a point to teach my team that mistakes are opportunities to learn, not failures, and that resilience is the cornerstone of lasting success.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell young women entering my industry: give yourself permission to fail forward—and be kind to yourself in the process. I encourage embracing courage and curiosity, taking initiative, finding your voice early, and recognizing the power of empathy in leadership. My message is clear: you can be both compassionate and strong, and both are essential for leading effectively.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I see post-pandemic supply chain resilience as both a challenge and an opportunity in my field. While global disruptions have exposed weaknesses in existing systems, they have also created space for innovation, collaboration, and digital transformation. I believe that as leaders, we must prioritize agility and inclusion, ensuring that our strategic decisions are both people-centered and sustainable.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The most important values to me in both my work and personal life are authenticity, compassion, and integrity. I believe real leadership comes from being transparent and human. I see vulnerability as a strength, encouraging my team to take ownership of their growth while knowing they have support. Whether at work or in life, I strive to lead with empathy, authenticity, and a deep respect for others’ journeys.
