Her Interview
Ten minutes with Kassee
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my family being there for me, my grit to get it done, and my faith in God as my foundation. He gives me strength to keep going through backlash and hard roads.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say to network as much as you can, meet people and collaborate, communicate with those that are already in the seat. Rely heavily on the people that know the job. Finding like-minded people to help you that care about your dreams and will help you achieve them is the most important part to succeed.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The greatest challenges are property taxes which are not easily solvable without cutting essential services. The way to help is through economic development which is a slow process involving communication, collaborating, networking and getting the right people in seats.
