Ten minutes with Kata
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to determination, resourcefulness, and my commitment to always looking for solutions and ways to improve. I believe in continuing to learn, analyzing what is working and what is not, and being willing to adjust when necessary. My sunflower logo reflects this philosophy because it represents my approach of looking for the bright side in every situation and helping others find opportunities for growth.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have received is to always keep moving forward toward opportunities. I believe it is better to be proactive and create momentum than to wait for opportunities to come to you. Entrepreneurship has reinforced for me that preparation, continuous learning, asking for help, and taking action are essential to building something meaningful.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to be passionate about what you do and genuinely enjoy the process of learning about your clients, understanding their vision and passion, and helping them grow their visibility and authority. Take the time to understand the people and businesses you serve, continue developing your skills, and remain open to learning and adapting as opportunities arise.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Trustworthiness, honesty, positivity, creativity, and resourcefulness are among the values that are most important to me. I believe these qualities are essential not only for building strong professional relationships and credible brands, but also for navigating difficult situations, finding solutions, and creating meaningful connections with others.
