Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a combination of dedication, diverse experiences, and a passion for continuous growth. Over the past ten years, I have focused on health and behavioral development, including providing ABA therapy to children on the autism spectrum. Beyond my professional pursuits, I have cultivated a range of personal interests that reflect my curiosity and discipline, such as ballroom dancing, flying a plane, achieving a yellow belt in martial arts, and caring for animals. These experiences have strengthened my adaptability, empathy, and commitment to excellence in all areas of my life.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Go for it. Even if it's scary. You only fail if you don't try. Always look for the solutions not the problems.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Never be afraid to ask questions. This career isn't just a reflection on you but the lives of the families you work with. You have a purpose and an obligation to advocate, provide ethical services, and impact someone else's life besides your own. You also can't pour from an empty cup so be sure to put just as much effort into yourself and take self care seriously.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

It is a growing concern with insurances and constant changes that are being made that make it difficult for families to receive services, or delay services that could end up detrimental to the clients progress.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I value transparency and honesty in both my work and personal life.
