Her Interview
Ten minutes with Katelyn
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my three young daughters, because I just really want to be a strong woman figure that they can look up to, and just to know that they're capable of anything that they want to do or be.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received is to never take things personal, and to always try to find a silver lining in something.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
To never cut yourself short. And to always be confident in everything you do. And take every opportunity to learn and grow.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is working with so many different people at the same time. It's just a lot of people skills and learning how to read the room while being virtually remote. The biggest opportunity is being able to branch out and really take your career whatever direction you want to go within the business development.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Respect, transparency, trust and honesty. Kindness goes a long way.
