About Katherina
Katherina Ali serves as Head of HR at Freebee in Miami, Florida. She joined the company when it had approximately 100 employees and has been instrumental in scaling the organization to over 600 employees while building the HR department from its foundation. Ali has assembled teams including recruiters, onboarding specialists, and generalists, ensuring compliance, collaborating with legal, and fostering engagement for the company's remote drivers. She leads a team of six and focuses on developing systems, processes, and procedures during rapid growth. Ali earned her high school diploma in Irvington, New Jersey, and completed a master's degree in business administration with a concentration in HR Management from Colorado Technical University in 2020. She maintains active memberships in the Women's Chamber in Florida, HR Advisory, startup experts, an HR group, and the CTU membership group for mentoring scholars and alumni.
