With over a decade of Fortune 500 experience, Katie Begor is an expert in leveraging strategic partnerships to drive product innovation, revenue growth, and enhanced customer experiences. Katie has collectively led and grown over 25+ B2C and B2B partnerships spanning the Travel, Retail, Entertainment, and Dining industries with a clear focus on sourcing and executing net-new business development for both small-scale startups and large Corporations. At American Express she has led major collaborations throughout her career with key partners including Delta, Hilton, Uber, Apple, Amazon, Expedia, and others. Katie is known by her colleagues as a ‘change agent,’ with expertise leading the full lifecycle of new partnership creation to drive large scale business innovation including research, business case creation, commercial negotiation, product build, and launch.
Her efforts have been recognized with prestigious awards such as the American Express Centurion Award and the President’s Excellence Award. Beyond her corporate achievements, Katie is deeply committed to fostering equity and leadership opportunities for women. She serves as a Board Member and Finance Officer for NextUp New York, an organization dedicated to empowering women and breaking down barriers to professional success. Katie’s advocacy and mentorship reflect her belief that the future of business is inclusive and collaborative. Katie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Colgate University with a B.A. in Economics and completed the Tuck Business Bridge Program at Dartmouth College. Outside of work, she is a mom to two boys under 2, enjoys the outdoors, and stays active through running, skiing, hiking, and travel.

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to be present and focus on doing a great job in your current job. When you excel where you are, great opportunities naturally follow.

My advice to young women entering this industry is to be authentic and always show up as your most natural self. Only then can you truly maximize your potential.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge in my field right now is navigating the rapid rise of AI and volatility of geopolitics impacting consumer travel and payments.
