Katherine is an emerging healthcare professional with a strong foundation in healthcare administration, business management, and economics. A graduate of Campbell University, she earned a double major in Healthcare Management and Business Management, along with a minor in Economics. With approximately two and a half years of healthcare experience that includes internships and full-time roles, Katherine has developed expertise in customer service, healthcare operations, compliance, documentation management, and organizational support. Her professional journey reflects a commitment to improving healthcare systems while building a well-rounded understanding of both patient-centered care and business operations.

Currently serving as a Customer Service Representative with UNC Health Pardee, Katherine has gained valuable experience working directly within healthcare environments and supporting patient needs. Her previous roles include serving as a Coordinator Support Associate with Birth Tissue Recovery, LLC, where she ensured compliance with regulatory standards, managed critical documentation, and supported tissue recovery operations in a highly regulated setting. She has also completed internships in healthcare management and accounting, providing her with exposure to financial processes, healthcare administration, and operational strategy. These diverse experiences have strengthened her analytical thinking and reinforced her interest in the intersection of healthcare delivery and business management.

Inspired by a family background that combined healthcare and hospitality—having a mother who worked as a nurse and a father in the hospitality industry—Katherine developed an early appreciation for both service and operational excellence.
