About Katherine
Katherine Lummel serves as a Title Specialist at Title Resource Group in the real estate industry. In this role, she conducts quality control by examining search packages for completeness and preparing final commitments for distribution. Lummel brings a diverse educational background to her position, having earned an Associate's degree in Business Administration with an accounting focus from Western Nebraska Community College in 2018 and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2024. She is an active member of the International Honor Society in Psychology, having accepted a nominated position during her undergraduate studies, and she earned recognition on the Dean's List at both institutions. Previously, Lummel volunteered with the Salvation Army. She attributes her professional success to her commitment to providing the best possible life for herself and her children, guided by values of honesty, integrity, and hard work. Lummel advises that it is never too late to pursue new opportunities and that one can achieve anything they set their mind to. She notes that while the real estate market currently faces challenges such as high housing costs and difficult loan processes, the field remains a growing and lucrative opportunity due to its constant evolution and ongoing demand.

01What do you attribute your success to?
Basically, I just keep trying to give myself and my children the best life that I can.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
I can really do anything that I set my mind to.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
It is never too late to try something new.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Challenges: The market has gone crazy, cost of houses is astronomical, getting loans is difficult, hard for people to buy or find houses. Opportunities: Real estate is always growing and evolving with a constant need, making it a lucrative business even in difficult markets.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honesty, integrity, and hard work.
