Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my children, my resilience, and my decision to embrace imperfection. I’ve learned that growth comes from taking action, not striving for perfection, and that being willing to share my story openly has allowed me to create a meaningful impact.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received didn’t come from a formal mentor, but from the people who believed in me during pivotal moments. One experience that profoundly shaped my journey was a conversation with a patient who worked at a domestic violence center. Their encouragement to leave an abusive relationship changed the course of my life and taught me the power of support, guidance, and timing in both personal and professional growth.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to take the leap, even when you don’t feel fully ready. Fear does not equal failure, and your lived experiences are incredibly powerful. I’ve learned that imperfection does not disqualify you from making an impact—your authenticity and willingness to act often matter more than being flawless.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is raising awareness around emotional and psychological abuse, which often leaves no visible evidence. At the same time, I see tremendous opportunities in education, open dialogue, podcasting, and community-driven initiatives—especially as more institutions embrace trauma-informed approaches. These avenues allow us to create meaningful change and reach individuals who might otherwise remain unheard.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide both my work and personal life are authenticity, courage, compassion, and growth. I strive to meet people where they are, speak the truth even when it’s uncomfortable, and create safe spaces for learning and transformation.

Outside of work, I find grounding and clarity in nature—hiking and spending time outdoors with my family is a constant source of renewal. I’m also deeply passionate about storytelling and helping others recognize their strength and resilience after adversity.
