Her Interview
Ten minutes with Katherine
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to having a never-give-up attitude and a can-do attitude, combined with having the right team and supportive leadership at my company who encourage me to question things and push forward.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
It is a tough market. Think outside the box a little bit, do not be afraid to take risks. Know that you will be pulled in multiple directions. Figure out your core responsibilities and complete those first, then push as hard as you can. Make connections by talking to people about their day and family, as that can lead to unexpected support and win-win solutions.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge and opportunity is AI. It makes pushing out content faster but competitors can do the same, affecting rankings. However, it helps generate ideas and reformat content for uniqueness when used inventively alongside our own projects and case studies.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Diligence, being hardworking, never giving up, and treating others with respect by following the golden rule - treat others the way you want to be treated - regardless of circumstances, while setting boundaries respectfully.
