Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I would say being genuine, honest, and being upfront with my insurance clients in a professional way. It's about having those honest conversations, like when I have to tell someone they're getting a 20% increase this year, but really being able to break it down and explain why, versus just saying 'too bad, so sad.' It's about gaining that trust through transparency and professionalism.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Be smarter than the problem. Take a look at what the issue is, give it a minute, analyze it, and figure out the best solution before arriving to a concluded answer.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Lead by example, stay humble, and always strive to demonstrate professionalism in everything you do.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenges in my field right now include shifts in the commercial and general aviation insurance market, where carriers are increasingly moving to quota-share arrangements instead of writing large aircraft 100%. At the same time, there’s an ongoing opportunity to strengthen agency culture while balancing work, home life, and complex interpersonal dynamics.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are genuineness, honesty, humility, and leading by example, both in my work and personal life. I also enjoy enriching experiences like travel and wine tasting that broaden my perspective.
