My first profession was writing for television. When my show was going off the air, I resigned and went back to school. I then became a peace officer as my second profession, writing for the Superior Court. I have a lot of experience as a peace officer. For the last 5 years, I've been fighting through a chronic pain situation, and I'm currently working on my autobiography about this experience. I want to get this information out to women, sharing how the struggle has been and how you can overcome it. Now I'm going back into the workforce and had my first interview with the Department of Children, Youth, and Families here in Washington State, where they quickly forwarded my application because of my experience as a peace officer.
