About Kathleen
Kathleen Dyer built a distinguished career in the legal field spanning more than four decades. After earning a nursing degree, she pursued a law degree from Golden Gate University while working full time, passed the California Bar, and began practicing in San Francisco with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. She later hung out her own shingle before relocating to New Hampshire, where she passed the bar and worked as a prosecutor. In Tennessee she established a successful criminal defense practice, became the only lawyer in her small town, and served as a city court judge. Dyer retired after moving to Florida and now resides in The Villages.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't back down. You're gonna get bullied. Some guy is gonna see that you don't have a penis so he's gonna take advantage of it but guess what? You've got to grow a set bigger than his. Because the only thing a bully responds to is a bigger bully.
