About Kathleen
Kathleen Pagano is a real estate agent and home rehabber based in Ocean Township, New Jersey. With two years in real estate, she focuses on rehabbing homes, staging properties, and leveraging her creative eye for design in small spaces while also incorporating health and wellness principles. She holds a real estate license in New Jersey, having previously obtained one in Pennsylvania. Prior to entering real estate, Pagano pursued studies in nursing before completing beauty school and working as a hairdresser. She has also built a background in modeling and pageantry, including titles as Miss Hawaiian Tropics New Jersey, Miss Metrics, and Miss New Jersey for Miss USA, along with on-air work for QVC. As a single mother of four, she values character, integrity, authenticity, and treating others well, and she emphasizes independence and pursuing dreams in advice to young women.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Dream big, don't let anybody discourage you in what you want to do. Keep your dreams to yourself and work quietly.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
You can do anything you put your mind to. Work for it, don't let anything stop you. Always be independent as a woman. Keep your independence and go for your dreams.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Biggest challenge is finding clients. Opportunities include staging homes, using creative eye for design and small spaces, and giving ideas to homeowners. Juggling with kids' schedules is also a challenge.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Character and integrity. Being authentic and genuine. Treating people better than you want to be treated.
