About Kathryn
I manage J.E. Booth Farms, which is my family's business focused on timber and real estate investments. I've been doing this work in some capacity all my life - I sat at the knee of my father learning the business. I taught school for 5 or 6 years, then went to work for IBM where I spent 19 years with a break in between. During that time, I also did a number of startups, though none of them were Microsoft or Google. Since I retired from IBM in 2010, I've been managing my family's assets full-time, 24-7. I have a number of properties, both commercial and residential, and I'm involved in buying and selling real estate. It's not a consumer-facing effort - it's private work managing family assets. The Booth in J.E. Booth Farms comes from my middle name, which reflects the family heritage of this business.
