Her Story
About Kathryn
I worked for the government, for NOAA, for 25 years in fisheries research as a statistician. I worked with fishery biologists, helping them analyze their data and collecting data. I was always good in math, and I liked the idea of doing something with ecology, which drew me to this field. My most notable professional achievement was writing papers that were published. Beyond my career as a statistician, I am also a yoga teacher. I make jewelry, mainly with silver and copper and some gold - I make earrings, rings, and bracelets just for fun. I like to cook and take care of my grandson, who is 2 years old.
