About Kathryn
Kathryn Purnell serves as a health coach specializing in caregivers and builds care plans for disabled adults at BioHealth in Western North Carolina. Her background in education and nonprofit leadership informs her approach, which includes providing health coaching through the Arms Around Autism nonprofit. Drawing from her personal experience supporting an adult child with an intellectual disability, Kathryn focuses on advocacy, community building, and helping people access the resources and support they need to reach their best selves. 01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
It takes a village. You are not alone. Remember it takes a village and there is a village out there in finding your village whatever that looks like and whatever your needs are. When we work more together as a community with agencies, friends, family reach for the support and don't be afraid of the support.
