Her Story
About Kathryn
I’m truly honored and grateful to be invited to share my story with the Influential Women on LinkedIn. Being connected to women who lead with resilience, purpose, and vision is a reminder that we’re never alone in our growth — even when the journey begins in the hardest moments.
There was a point in my life when I had to make the hardest decision I’ve ever made. I left an abusive marriage — and with that choice came the reality of starting over from the ground up. Not just rebuilding a home, but rebuilding confidence, stability, and a vision for what I wanted my future to look like.
Starting over meant more than change — it meant stepping into the unknown. I left behind my life in Guatemala and moved to the United States with only two suitcases and the determination to build something better.
It wasn’t easy. It required resilience I didn’t know I had, and discipline I had to develop quickly. But it also revealed something powerful: when you remove what’s breaking you, you create space to become who you’re meant to be.
I began focusing on two things: healing and execution.
Because rebuilding isn’t just about changing your circumstances — it’s about reclaiming your identity. It’s learning to trust yourself again. It’s setting boundaries you never knew you were allowed to have. It’s choosing peace, even when the world expects you to “just push through.”
Professionally, I leaned into my strengths — problem-solving, systems, operations, and the ability to stay calm and strategic under pressure. Over time, those strengths became the foundation for my next chapter: building a career in AI Operations.
AI is transforming how businesses run, scale, and compete. I’m committed to being part of that transformation — not just learning the tools, but building the operational frameworks that make AI sustainable, efficient, and impactful inside real organizations.
At the same time, I’m building something of my own: a successful E-Commerce business rooted in long-term growth, customer value, and financial independence. It’s more than a business goal — it’s a statement of ownership over my life and future.
And the truth is, none of this happened overnight. It happened through consistency. Through showing up when it was hard. Through choosing progress over perfection. Through building a life I don’t need to escape from.
What I’ve learned through all of this is simple, but deeply true:
You can rebuild after anything.
And sometimes, the most difficult seasons create the strongest leaders.
✨ If you’re rebuilding too, I’d love to connect.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My success is rooted in more than ambition—it’s grounded in God and my faith in Him.
Through every challenge, transition, and new beginning, I’ve leaned on His guidance, strength, and purpose for my life. I’m also deeply grateful for my parents and family, whose love, sacrifices, and encouragement have shaped the woman and leader I am today. And I’m thankful for the supportive friends who have stood beside me, believed in me, and reminded me of what’s possible even when the path was difficult.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Let faith lead, not fear:
Your faith is a competitive advantage: it gives you resilience, purpose, and peace under pressure.
Keep praying, keep moving, and trust that what’s meant for you won’t miss you.
Start where you are:
Confidence is built through action.
Move while you’re still learning—momentum will sharpen you faster than perfection.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
To every woman building her career in ecommerce, operations, or AI—my biggest advice is this: take up space and own your value.
You don’t need permission to lead. You don’t need to know everything to start. You just need the courage to move, learn, and stay consistent.
Your story is not your limitation—it’s your leadership advantage.
Now move like the woman who’s building the life she prayed for. 💛
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Competition is one of the biggest challenges—and also one of the biggest opportunities—in AI and e-commerce. The market is moving faster than ever, and today your competitors aren’t just other brands selling similar products. They’re brands using automation, data, and AI to move quicker, test more ideas, personalize customer experiences, and scale with less effort. In many ways, competition has evolved from “who has the best product” to “who has the best systems, speed, and execution.”
At the same time, competition can be a powerful advantage. It forces you to sharpen your strategy, strengthen your brand, and innovate instead of staying comfortable. When competition is high, the brands that win are the ones that stay focused, stay consistent, and keep improving—because growth is not just about being better than others, it’s about being better than you were yesterday.
And honestly, one of the biggest competitors we face isn’t always another business—it’s often ourselves. Self-doubt, fear of failure, procrastination, comparison, and perfectionism can become the real obstacles. Sometimes the challenge isn’t lack of talent or opportunity—it’s the mindset that delays action. The moment you stop competing with everyone else and start competing with your own limitations, you begin to unlock your true potential.
In AI and e-commerce, competition will always exist. The real question is: will it intimidate you, or will it refine you? Because the most powerful advantage you can build is becoming the kind of leader who stays disciplined, adapts quickly, and keeps showing up—no matter what the market is doing.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
My values guide everything I do—both in my career and in my personal life. I believe success means nothing if it isn’t built with integrity. That’s why I’m committed to being ethical, honest, and consistent in how I work, how I lead, and how I treat people. I want my name to stand for trust, professionalism, and doing the right thing—even when it’s not the easiest option.
I also lead with kindness. I believe you can be strong and still be compassionate. I value respect, humility, and the ability to communicate with intention. Whether I’m working with customers, colleagues, or business partners, I aim to create positive experiences and build relationships that are rooted in dignity and mutual support.
I’m proud to be resourceful—the kind of person who finds solutions, learns quickly, and stays adaptable in changing environments. I don’t rely on perfect conditions to move forward. I believe in taking action, improving as I go, and turning obstacles into strategy.
Above all, I carry resilience as a core part of who I am. I’ve learned how to keep going when things are difficult, how to rebuild when life changes, and how to stay focused on long-term goals. I value discipline, growth, and personal accountability because I know real success requires consistency, not just motivation.
Other values I live by include hard work, responsibility, faith, loyalty, and continuous learning. I believe in showing up with excellence, staying grateful, and being someone others can depend on. My goal is not only to succeed—but to succeed with purpose, character, and impact.
