Kathryn Wells

Kathryn Wells is the founder of Wellsbridge Group, which she began building in 2024 in Long Beach, California. The firm specializes in cross-sector partnerships, fundraising, and strategic planning to help organizations build capacity in the social impact field. Wells entered the sector in 2009 right out of college with her first role on the development fundraising team at the LA LGBT Center in Hollywood. From there, she worked at several nonprofits including Mental Health America, Tucson Botanical Gardens, and the Catalina Conservancy until 2015. That year she earned her Master's in Public Administration. After running her own business for about 10 years to gain flexibility as a single mother, she launched Wellsbridge Group to activate her community network and focus on mission-driven work. She belongs to the local chambers of commerce in Long Beach, the National Gay Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, and Nonprofit Partnership. She recently accepted a board position with a volunteer organization in the South Bay.
