Kathryne Lewis

Kathryne Lewis is the Director of Food Security at Soldiers Angels in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, she oversees all 10 food distribution and pantry programs throughout the United States, serving veterans, active duty military members, and their families. Her personal experiences with food insecurity during her husband's active duty service and while she was in college inspired her commitment to this mission. Lewis is a first-generation college graduate who earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees within five years. She attributes her success to the support of her husband and father, who encourage her and remind her of the importance of kindness and giving back to the community. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor activities and family time with her husband and two sons.
