Katie Aufenthie
Katie Aufenthie is a classically trained pianist, musician, and visionary with a passion for creativity and teaching. She currently serves as the Music Director at The Classical Station. She also serves as Music Director for Fuquay Varina Presbyterian Church, where she leads the choir in meaningful and reverent worship music. Alongside her church role, Katie has extensive experience as a private piano instructor and creative arts instructor, having guided students of all ages in developing both technical skill and artistic expression. Her background includes years of performance, music direction, and arts education, making her a versatile and accomplished figure in the music community.
Beyond her work in music, Katie is the founder and sole owner of Land of Luna, LLC, a handmade macrame and jewelry business that reflects her entrepreneurial spirit and love for artistry. Her creative vision and dedication to her craft have earned her recognition as an Emerging Leader in Marquis Who’s Who, a testament to her growing impact as both a musician and business owner.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Valdosta State University, Katie blends her academic foundation with her passion for music and the arts. Whether teaching, performing, or creating, she is committed to inspiring others through authentic artistry and meaningful expression.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the foundation my grandmother gave me when she introduced me to the piano at age four, along with years of dedication to teaching, performing, and developing lesson plans that share my love of music with others.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are creativity, authenticity, and perseverance, which guided me in building my macramé business, Land of Luna, and stand as the foundation of my most notable professional achievements.
