Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to consistently saying yes to opportunities. Embracing new challenges and stepping outside my comfort zone has allowed me to grow both personally and professionally, opening doors to experiences that have shaped my career and strengthened my skills. By maintaining an open and proactive mindset, I have been able to seize opportunities that others might overlook, ultimately driving my continued success and development.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to surround myself with people who are smarter than me. Being in the company of talented, knowledgeable, and driven individuals challenges me to grow, think differently, and continuously improve. It creates an environment of learning, inspiration, and collaboration, ultimately pushing me to achieve more than I could on my own.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Never stop learning - every week you should be reading something, listening to something, or learning a new piece of tech.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is navigating the industry as a woman, which requires resilience, confidence, and the ability to advocate for oneself in traditionally male-dominated spaces. At the same time, emerging technologies like AI present both challenges and opportunities. While adapting to new tools and processes can be demanding, leveraging AI effectively offers the potential to enhance productivity, drive innovation, and open new avenues for growth and impact within the field.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are elevating other people, authenticity, doing what I say I’m going to do - bringing value as a human being, not a cog in a wheel.
