About Katie
I am the Owner of Go Long Marketing, a business I launched in October 2025 in Mansfield, Texas. I am also the Director of Community Relations and Advertising at Mansfield ISD, where I have served since August 2024, after previously working as a Community Relations Specialist. Earlier, I was a 5th Grade Teacher at Aledo ISD and an Elementary School Teacher at Mineral Wells ISD, and I worked as a Communications Coordinator in the Office of the CEO at Virtuoso in Fort Worth. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Communication from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Wesleyan University. Throughout my career in education, communications, and marketing, I have developed deep expertise in community relations, advertising, and organizational communication.
