Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a supportive network I helped create during real estate school. We formed a group to mentor one another, share knowledge, and provide guidance as we learned and launched our careers in the field.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Victor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning:

“Don’t aim at success… Success, like happiness, cannot be pursued; it must ensue… as the unintended side-effect of one’s dedication to a cause greater than oneself.”

“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing… the last of the human freedoms — to choose one’s own attitude in any given set of circumstances.”

"Success doesn’t come from choosing perfectly, but from choosing something and then doing it with integrity and excellence.”

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell young women entering the industry: don’t wait—go for it and don’t give up. I encourage new agents to start early, seek mentorship, develop strong negotiation skills, and be open to guidance. I also make it a point to mentor and support younger colleagues as they navigate their careers.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life is integrity, resilience, and dedication. Having faced significant challenges—being widowed and raising seven children in a blended family—I learned to manage tight schedules, provide for my family despite financial difficulties, and stay focused on my goals. These experiences shaped my work ethic and helped me achieve a bronze award in my second year of real estate, with almost $8 million in transactions.
