Katie Hein

Katie Hein serves as a Continuous Improvement Black Belt at Viega, LLC, a manufacturing company where she has spent her entire 10-year career. She began on the production floor working off-shifts before transitioning to quality, where she spent five years advancing from inspector to technician and then managing gauges across all U.S. locations. Approximately three years ago she moved into continuous improvement, where she leads Lean and Six Sigma projects, conducts training programs from Yellow Belt through Black Belt levels, and facilitates workshops that have helped standardize processes globally. Hein holds Black Belt and Green Belt certifications as well as ASQ CQIA and CQI credentials, and she received an MVP award recognizing her outstanding support and leadership. She also volunteers with her local FFA alumni chapter.
