Katie Koston

Katie Koston serves as the Trade Show and Event Department Manager for Samsung Healthcare, a position she has held for nearly two years. In this role, she manages the entire trade show and event department, supervising several junior and senior employees by ensuring they are trained and equipped with the tools needed to perform their jobs effectively. She also focuses on keeping the department running smoothly, staying within budgets, following internal processes, and supporting internal representatives and external stakeholders. Koston brings 13 years of experience in the healthcare and ultrasound industry to her position. She is especially proud of her work developing junior talent and helping to bring up the next generation of trade show and meeting managers. Her background includes a bachelor's degree in Organizational Communications and a minor in Event Management from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan, which initially sparked her passion for the field. She has further solidified her expertise by obtaining her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation.
