Katie Myers

Katie is a professional in the food manufacturing industry currently based in Illinois. She works at Ingredion in a rotational program with annual role changes, and she is currently responsible for supply chain replenishment planning which involves loading product into rail cars for shipment across the country. Prior to this role, she spent a year in Indianapolis working on environmental projects on the Environmental Health and Safety team and 2 years in Idaho Falls as the quality lead. Before joining Ingredion, she worked at another food manufacturing company, Idahoan Foods, in a customer service role in Idaho after graduating. She earned her bachelor's degree in Agricultural Communications from Utah State University, where her farming background influenced her path, and later completed a master's degree in environmental law through Vermont Law School while working full time, including two jobs at one point to support herself as a first-generation college graduate. Her experience reflects a commitment to continuous professional development and applying academic learning in practical settings.
