Katie O'Dell is an accomplished marketing leader, publishing professional, and editor with over a decade of experience across publishing, communications, and brand marketing. She currently serves as Marketing Manager at YellowDog in Denver, Colorado, where she leads marketing strategy and brand initiatives. Her earlier career includes serving as an Account Executive at Big Voice Communications and over six years at Globe Pequot Press, where she advanced from Acquisitions Editor to Falcon Guides Acquisitions Editor, conceptualizing, developing, contracting, project managing, and creatively directing 30 nonfiction outdoor recreation books per year while mining industry trends, developing content, directing design, managing budgets and schedules, and coordinating multiple projects on rolling timelines.
