Her Story
About Katie
I am a program director and speech-language pathologist with a deep commitment to supporting military families and building resilient communities, currently serving as Program Director of the SOAR Family Collaborative at the Night Stalker Foundation, a role I have held since May 2025, where I coordinate programs that promote resiliency and enhance performance for families of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. I create new programs based on community needs, build relationships to synthesize efforts between DOD programs, civilian resources, local community outreach, the Night Stalker Foundation, and the 160th SOAR, and ensure that Night Stalker families receive the specialized care and support they need to thrive in a high-paced, chronically stressful lifestyle.
Prior to this role, I served as Program Coordinator at the Night Stalker Foundation for nearly two years, where I built, facilitated, and delivered programs supporting families of 160th SOAR, including family and couples retreats, workshops, parent coaching, and personal development coaching, adapting and creating curriculum to support, educate, and engage soldiers and their families.
Before joining the Night Stalker Foundation, I worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in a home care setting for over a year, at Advanced Therapy Solutions for over a year, and at AccentCare, Inc. for six months, providing speech therapy services and supporting patients in their recovery and communication needs.
Across my career in program development, military family support, and speech-language pathology, my work has been driven by a commitment to service, connection, and empowering individuals and families to navigate life's challenges with resilience and strength. Whether I am coordinating programs for military families, providing speech therapy, or supporting community outreach efforts, I bring a compassionate, collaborative, and dedicated approach to everything I do. I am proud of the work I have done throughout my career and excited to continue serving the Night Stalker community and their families through my work at the Night Stalker Foundation.
