Katie Sabe

Katie Sabe is a psychotherapist and licensed funeral director who has spent over ten years in the funeral industry and one year in the mental health field. She offers virtual-only mental health therapy sessions to clients throughout Minnesota, with a focus on serving rural areas. She works with adolescents ages 13 and older, and also with younger children when grief is the presenting concern. Sabe is particularly passionate about perinatal mental health and supporting moms during pregnancy and the adjustment period. She completed her bachelor's degree in mortuary science from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and her master's degree in counseling and psychological services from St. Mary's University of Minnesota. In addition to her clinical work, Sabe volunteers and is about to become a board member for Healing Hearts Connection, which offers a free weekend-long family grief camp. She also mentors young professionals, including funeral directors, who are pursuing careers as therapists.
