About Katrina
Katrina Bryson serves as an account manager in equipment financing, a role she has held for 4.5 years. She began her career in revenue accounting for a software company for 10 years before moving to her current employer, where she spent 5 years in portfolio management prior to transitioning to sales. Her main area of expertise is finding solutions for customers. She earned her CLFP certification while in portfolio management and recently graduated with an MBA from Drexel University after completing her bachelor's degree. Bryson has received the Sales Winner Award two years in a row, along with recognition in the Winner's Circle and Inner Circle. She attributes her success to her determination, supportive mentors who encouraged her education, and her family, including her husband and children who motivate her to persevere. Bryson is involved with Parent to Parent, supporting families facing similar medical challenges as her son. She values honesty, growth, coaching, integrity, and perseverance in both her professional and personal life.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to myself and the people I've been lucky enough to encounter. I'm a very determined person. I moved out on my own at 16, got my GED, worked two jobs. I had managers who saw potential in me and encouraged me to get my degree. My career grew from there. My children motivate me to be a good role model, and my husband has been incredibly supportive through my education.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Do some research and look for the different types of opportunities that there are. It's a wonderful industry, and it can be truly rewarding and a lot of fun.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Challenges: the economy, rising interest rates, availability of equipment, setting yourself apart from many other lenders. Opportunities: many equipment dealers, heavy building environment creating demand for equipment financing.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Professionally: honesty, growth, coaching from supervisors who see potential. Personally: integrity and perseverance. I have persevered throughout my entire life.
