Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a combination of expertise, dedication, and a collaborative approach. As Manager of Medicare Services for over three years, I lead a team of Medicare service executives, supporting some of our largest and most complex clients. I specialize in Medicare services, regulatory compliance, client support, and process improvement, helping clients navigate CMS changes, stay compliant, and enhance member experiences. I am proud to have grown into a role that blends subject-matter expertise with leadership responsibilities, building strong client relationships and serving as a trusted resource for Medicare guidance within my organization.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve received has been to seek out mentors who exemplify the qualities I aspire to develop. I look up to my current VP, who demonstrates strong leadership while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Observing and learning from someone like that has been invaluable in shaping my own growth and approach to leadership.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to pace yourself and stay focused. The healthcare and benefits field is constantly evolving, so commit to continuous learning, remain adaptable, and seek out mentors who can guide your growth. Consistency, curiosity, and a willingness to embrace change will help you achieve long-term success.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is the constant regulatory changes in Medicare, which can impact affordability and access to medications. At the same time, this challenge presents an opportunity—it drives us to innovate, stay informed, and advocate for solutions that make healthcare more accessible and supportive for seniors.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in work and life are creativity, connection, and balance. I channel creativity through my small permanent jewelry business, designing custom charm bracelets and engaging with the community at vendor events. I also prioritize spending quality time with family, exploring new places through travel, and enjoying moments with my miniature schnauzer, Bella, which helps me stay grounded and energized.
