About Kavita
She is a clinical development, medical, and pharmaceutical consulting leader with more than 15 years of experience across ophthalmology, biotech, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and clinical research. She currently serves as Founder and Principal Consultant at MedVeda Consulting, advising biotech, pharma, startups, and investment organizations on clinical strategy, regulatory affairs, medical oversight, product development, and scientific due diligence. Previously, she held Vice President-level clinical development roles at 4D Molecular Therapeutics, Tarsus Pharmaceuticals, and Sight Sciences, progressing from clinical and regulatory leadership into executive roles. Her expertise spans clinical development, ophthalmology, gene therapy, regulatory strategy, medical affairs, clinical trials, and commercialization. She holds a PhD in Vision Science/Physiological Optics from UC Berkeley and completed an Ophthalmology Residency at Tarachand Hospital.
