About Kavya
I am a senior developer specializing in process automation where we develop automation without any human intervention. I started in the infrastructure team resolving issues firm-wide and was later moved to the automation team as lead developer due to my extra skills, eventually becoming Senior Developer. I handle SharePoint, PowerApps, UiPath, Power Automate and more while mentoring the team and wearing multiple hats as manager and SME.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My success is due to my husband and parents who encouraged me constantly. My husband supports by taking care of the kids so I can focus on work deadlines even right after having a baby.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Don't work hard, work smart. If there is a smarter way to do something, use it instead of repeating the same effort.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Always follow your guts. If you think something is going wrong, do not hesitate to speak up to your manager in a smart way and suggest the best solution.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
There are no challenges because I enjoy managing everything and learning. The big opportunity is moving into the AI world with my team to achieve recognition for the firm.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Trust and integrity are most important. I encourage my team to trust each other, ask questions without hesitation, and view every day as a learning opportunity.
