Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to fostering a positive culture at work and bringing out the best in the people around me. I believe that when team members feel supported, motivated, and valued, they are empowered to perform at their highest level. By encouraging collaboration, celebrating achievements, and leading with dedication and integrity, I create an environment where both individuals and the team as a whole can thrive. This approach not only drives results but also builds lasting trust and engagement, which I consider essential to sustainable success.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Success is reached when opportunity meets preparation. The reason I have been able to grow so quickly is because of the strong mentorship I have received from leaders in my field. They challenged me and encouraged me to develop my skills that way when an opportunity for growth presented itself, I was ready to exceed the qualifications. This helped me change my perspective and make exponential advances in my career because instead of feeling like I was owed an opportunity, I knew I had built the result to earn it. There wasn't just one reason why I should have gotten my promotions; there wasn't any possible reason to exist why I shouldn't.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Be bold. You deserve every bit of space you take up, and you belong at the table of every room you're in. It's going to be a tough battle; the fitness industry is not predominantly women. There is immense value in investing in yourself. Trust your knowledge and skills, because the right people will want to see you succeed, and everyone else's opinion doesn't matter.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenges are cliches and a lack of education, both in the fitness market and the corporate industry. The majority of fitness products are still marketed on fads and quick fixes, which get people to buy in quickly but not truly invest in their health. This is also where the best opportunity lies; people spend millions of dollars every year on health, typically more reactive than proactive. Some businesses are starting the shift of this trend and building a product based on life-changing results and core values centered on helping people improve their health. That is why I love being a part of Anytime Fitness; it is a business that cares and wants to create a sanctuary for people that will give them results and help them lead healthy lives with no limitations.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity and being a positive influence. I am most proud of my work ethic and ability to build up the people around me. People become the version of themselves they see, as a leader and a friend I love being able to remove the limits people give themselves and truly see what they are capable of.
