About Kayla

Kayla Greygor is a growth and innovation strategy leader based in the Greater Pittsburgh Region, specializing in enterprise expansion, client success, and the transformation of complex, highly regulated organizations. She currently serves as Director of Business Development at Forge Solutions, a subsidiary of Highmark Health, where she leads a broad, cross-functional scope that includes sales, account management, customer success, project delivery coordination, revenue operations, finance strategy, and customer service. In this role, she is responsible for building scalable go-to-market strategies, strengthening strategic partnerships, and aligning internal teams around measurable business outcomes that drive long-term growth.

With a background spanning commercial print and mail, healthcare communications, SaaS-adjacent solutions, and healthcare analytics, Kayla has developed deep expertise in connecting operational execution with strategic client engagement. She began working in the commercial print and mail industry in 2018 and has since contributed to the evolution of enterprise communication services that integrate digital and print ecosystems. Previously, she held roles at Cedar Gate Technologies, where she supported payer and provider clients in value-based care environments, and at Insight Global, where she gained early experience in technical recruiting, account management, and project coordination.

Kayla earned a Bachelor of Philosophy degree in Communication and Media Studies (Rhetoric) from the University of Pittsburgh, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Her academic foundation in communication informs her approach to leadership, stakeholder alignment, and storytelling within business contexts. Outside of her professional work, she is involved in volunteer efforts, including animal care with the Humane Animal Rescue Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. Across her career, she is known for a people-centered leadership style focused on building strong partnerships, enabling team performance, and driving sustainable organizational growth through innovation and customer-centric strategy.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Kayla

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to really just bringing folks together to see our goals come to life. Whether that's physical output on the page or a new product launched, I focus on enabling teams to see the outputs of their hard work and why that matters. People tend to get really excited when they finish a project, but I help them understand what does that matter in the industry, does that matter to our clients, and why are our clients excited about that. Being able to put that into perspective for them and seeing their role in the bigger picture is what I'm most proud of. It's about helping each person understand how their individual contribution matters and connects to our overall success.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Really just make it up as you go. You will find where you have value, and people will recognize that, even if sometimes you don't. So just keep learning more. Don't be afraid to ask questions and put your suggestions out there. Sometimes you'll be wrong, and sometimes you'll be right and have the answer, and then people will start to just trust that even if you are wrong, you're gonna find the right thing to do. Trust yourself and don't be afraid to speak up.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Everything is just so rapidly changing with AI, and figuring out how AI is going to change every market that we exist in. It's not the be-all, end-all, and we have to embrace it - there's no option. The challenge is how do we maintain human skills and combat where AI could fall short. It's about being able to do more with less while maintaining team culture and expertise. We need to figure out how to embrace AI actively while still preserving what makes our teams valuable and expert in what they do.
