About Kayla
Kayla Neal is the Course Coordinator and an Instructor for the Georgia Forensic Academy, where she draws upon her field experience to deliver high-quality training. She is certified by the State of Georgia as a Crime Scene Technician and a Latent Print Examiner. Prior to her current role, Kayla served with a local sheriff’s office as a Crime Scene Technician, Property and Evidence Manager, and Latent Print Examiner.
In addition to her responsibilities, Kayla currently serves as the Second Vice President of the Georgia Division of the International Association for Identification (GAIAI) and as Chairman of the Sciences and Practices Committee. She is dedicated to advancing the forensic science profession through education, leadership, and service. Her work reflects a strong commitment to professionalism and continuous improvement.
