About Kayla
Kayla Reyes is a data analytics professional based in Mount Vernon, New York, with nearly four years of experience in technology and STEM fields. Her expertise centers on data analytics, where she values the concrete impact of numbers and data-driven decisions, while she also works as a designer incorporating art and creativity into technology. Reyes began her journey through early exposure to computers, high school robotics, programs with Girls Who Code, teaching roles at Code Advantage, and a position as program support assistant at Columbia University. She earned an associate degree from Westchester Community College, where she revitalized the Women in STEAM club and served as an alumni council leader for Girls Who Code during the 24 season. She also attended Manhattan College and SUNY Empire State University, studying business administration and economics as well as science, mathematics, and technology. Notable achievements include representing Rewriting the Code at the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers 50th annual conference in Anaheim, California. Reyes maintains active involvement with Girls Who Code and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers.
