About Kaylee

Kaylee Smith is an Executive Assistant to the Superintendent and School Board at North Lawrence Community Schools in Bedford, Indiana. With experience in education, nonprofit programming, and administrative support, she brings strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills to her work. In her current role, she manages executive calendars, coordinates meetings and projects, prepares for monthly school board meetings, and assists with a variety of events and initiatives.


Before transitioning into executive support, Kaylee worked with Hoosier Uplands Economic Development Corporation, gaining valuable experience in programming, and community-focused initiatives. These experiences helped shape her ability to manage multiple responsibilities, build meaningful relationships, and adapt to the needs of those she serves.

Kaylee is passionate about organization, event planning, and creating positive experiences for the people around her. She credits her strong work ethic and determination to the values instilled by her parents, particularly her mother, as well as the many relationships she has built throughout her career.


Outside of work, Kaylee enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing, walking her Goldendoodles, and traveling to Disney destinations.

I attribute my success to my parents and support system, who taught me the value of hard work and perseverance. I also believe the meaningful relationships I’ve built along the way have played an important role in shaping both my personal and professional success.
