Her Interview

Ten minutes with Kaylie

01What do you attribute your success to?

My mom was a great role model in the new home industry and showed me the path through her own promotions to sales manager. Growing up with that example made it inevitable that I would follow into the family business.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The Let Them Theory - you can only control what you can control like your words, training, and how you present things to the team. Lead in a way that aspires others.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don't be afraid to do the hard things. It takes time to build confidence and overcome imposter syndrome. Find good mentors and surround yourself with other women on a similar path.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Market dependent challenges with interest rates and media messaging scaring people. Need to shift mindset that now is still a great time to buy and coach team through that.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Kindness is so important. Always lead from a place of best intentions whether having tough or easy conversations.
