About Kaylie
Kaylie Hardy is a finance and accounting professional with more than a decade of experience in financial analysis, accounting, corporate finance, reporting, budgeting, and investment management. She most recently served as Controller at Western Asbestos Settlement Trust, where she was responsible for month end, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting, budget development, and investment management supporting claim settlements. Prior to this role, Hardy served as a Financial Analyst at North American Bancard, where she focused on strategic planning and analysis reporting and annual budgeting. Earlier in her career, she spent nearly seven years as an Accountant with the State of Nevada, developing a strong foundation in financial operations and accounting.
Hardy earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Economics from the University of Nevada, Reno while working for the State of Nevada, utilizing educational leave to pursue her degree. She later earned a Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University, further strengthening her knowledge of business administration, financial strategy, and leadership. During her time in the fintech sector, she also earned the Certified Payments Professional credential, complementing her experience with specialized knowledge of the payments industry. Her professional skill set includes financial modeling, corporate finance, operations management, financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic analysis.
Throughout her career, Hardy has demonstrated a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth while expanding her expertise in financial strategy and leadership. Her long term goal is to advance into senior level financial management and leadership roles where she can apply her financial knowledge, analytical capabilities, and business experience to meaningful organizational initiatives. She is particularly interested in opportunities with purpose driven organizations that make a positive contribution to their communities, allowing her to combine financial leadership with a broader sense of purpose and impact.

01What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I believe that integrity and willingness to learn are the most important values to me. I believe that processing work that you are proud of brings a great sense of accomplishment in any industry you are in. I’ve also been open minded to learning new skills and continuing education whenever possible. Although it is hard work, education and learned skills are essential to professional and personal growth.
