About Kaysi
I am the owner and manager of DK Natural Essence, a business I created about 5 years ago. My journey into creating organic hair care products began after a deeply personal experience - I had breast cancer and lost my hair. When I recovered my hair, I was inspired to develop my own organic products to help with hair growth. I do everything for my business, working from my house and handling all aspects of the company myself. My product line includes shampoo, mask, deep mask, ground serum, shine serum - everything for brown hair, and everything is organic. I studied law in my country, but here in the United States, I pursued cosmetology in New York City where I obtained my license. I have been featured in interviews across different countries including Colombia and Dominican Republic. What's important to me is the marketing - I like to do everything myself for my product. I love my work so much that it doesn't feel like work. My biggest challenge and goal right now is to get my organic products into beauty places, beauty supply stores, and sold everywhere across the United States.

01What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
My challenge is to get a large amount of my organic products into beauty places, beauty supply stores, and everywhere. I want to see my product sold everywhere across the United States. The opportunity I see is in Connecticut and throughout the United States for organic hair care products.
02What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
For me, marketing is very important because I want to do everything myself for my product. I love my work - that's what I like to do. When you love what you do, it doesn't feel like work.
